Comments(1) The Mini, Youth, and Junior teams competed at American Cheer Power’s Tournament of Champions this past weekend. Youth and Juniors competed on Saturday and Minis on Sunday.
Juniors hit a clean routine, sticking all of their stunts and landing all of their tumbling. They were the only team to have no deductions. Everyone walked off the floor proud of themselves and knowing they did their best. They went home with third place.
Youth went out and stuck a clean routine. Their tumbling was amazing as always. They came in second place and are getting ready for Final Destination in two weeks.
Minis had one of their cleanest performances. After many changes and a tough week at practice, they pulled together as a team and won first place! What a great way to finish the season.

Seniors Win 1st!

Comments(0) Congratulations to the Senior team, they won first place at US Spirit Nationals at Universal Studios the weekend of April 4th. The team performed a flawless routine on Saturday and was well into the lead on Sunday when they hit another solid routine, securing them first place. Beating four other teams from across the country, the Seniors won jackets and started their Spring Break with a smile! Their next and final competition is Final Destination, May 4th, in Virginia Beach. Go Seniors!

Comments(0) The month of May will be dedicated to skill level tumbling. We will be offering classes twice a week for your child’s skill level. These classes will be taught be Team Spirit coaches as well as some guest coaches. This is a great opportunity to work on individual skills and meet new people. These classes are open to everyone, not just Team Spirit cheerleaders.
We will be having a skills assessment at the end of the month, on May 30th and 31st. Those who participate will be taught a choreographed piece on the 30th and will perform it for the coaches on the 31st. Practice times for the summer will be posted after this evaluation.
There will be parents meetings on at the West building Tuesday, May 27th from 6:00-7:00pm and Wednesday, May 28th from7:00-8:00pm, to discuss the 08-09 season.

Comments(0) Youth Team Mom Chris Lotfy is offering to have your Team Spirit sweats and backpacks embroidered for the low price of just $5 each. There is an OPTION of putting your child’s first name and first initial of her last name on the warm up jacket. If you have not seen the ones that have been done they are blue with a white outline in script. For those that have asked…the names CAN be placed on the pants or backpack bags also. Price is $5, for those wanting this done before the next competition weekend. These orders will need to be turned into her by Monday, 3/17 for Youth and Seniors, and Tuesday 3/18 for Minis and Juniors. This is the deadline for this competition date. Please place correct name spelling and if you want first name alone or with the first initial of last name on the form provided below and attach with $5 cash or check payable to Sharon Davis.
