You will be receiving a formal invitation in the mail. But here are the details:

End of the Year Party

Team Spirit Welcomes Scott Williams

You might have noticed a few new faces at practice over the last week. We are hoping to bring some new coaches to our program for the 2010/2011 year. We are interviewing many qualified tumbling as well as cheer coaches and we think you will be really pleased with our new (as well as last years experienced) ‘team’ of coaches.

We would also like to WELCOME and introduce Scott Williams as our new Team Spirit of Sun Country Department Leader. Danielle Smith will hopefully continue to coach with our program but will be stepping down as the cheer manager in order to focus on her new family. We really appreciate all of the work Danielle has put forth in this past year and will be working with Scott during this transition.

Scott is the the National Competition Director with the American Championships. He has been involved in the sport of cheerleading for 29 years with 20 years as a coach and choreographer. Scott is a graduate of Appalachian State University where he holds a Masters degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology. He is recognized internationally as both a judge and speaker. We are so excited to bring Scott’s expertise and energy to our program!

Some of you might remember Scott as he did portions of our stunt choreography a few years ago. Scott will be popping in and out of practice for the next 2 weeks but will officially begin working with the girls during our May clinics. He will be available to answer questions about the upcoming season at our upcoming Parent Meeting in May.
