Coaches Bios
Danielle Smith
Director of Team Spirit, Danielle coaches the tiny, youth, and senior teams as well as many other tumbling and recreational cheer classes. She cheered for 8 years throughout high school and college – including the University of North Florida and the University of Florida competitive team. She has been coaching high school cheerleading at P.K. Yonge for the last 4 years and is excited to take her knowledge and skills into the all-star realm. Danielle also has a masters degree in Elementary Education from the University of Florida.
Heather Parker
Heather is the assistant coach for the senior team. She was an all-star cheerleader for 10 years and ran a cheerleading camp for 5 years. Not only does Heather have many years of experience coaching cheerleading, she also has a masters in Elementary Education from the University of Florida. She is excited to work with Team Spirit this year!
Nikki Nailor
Nikki is the assistant coach for the youth team. She coached cheer in Merritt Island with Space Coast All-stars for 3 years, where she helped them win state and national champions. She was also a tumbling and gymnastics coach at East Coast Gymnastics for 4 years. In her spare time, Nikki also enjoys creating cheer music.
Torian Cherry
Our Music Coordinator and Choreographer, Torian has been a part of the all-star world for over 9 years. Having cheered for Florida Top Dog All-stars, he then coached for Florida Team Cheer and has won 4 choreography awards already!
Andres Vargas
Andres coaches advanced tumbling classes for the all-star teams. He also works with a local high school once a week at our facility. Andres was a gymnast in South Florida and is currently enrolled in the Engineering program at the University of Florida.
Chris Ingalls
Chris is a tumble coach for a local high school team at our facility. Chris started coaching Boys’ Gymnastics at Utah Sports Center in 2003 and went on to coach at Athletx, All-American and AirTime Gymnastics. In July of 2006 he took the Tumbling and Trampoline Team to Nationals in Schaumburg, Illinois. He was a Junior Olympic Judge from 2004-06 for the Men’s J.O. Program in Utah and competed for Brown’s Gymnastics from 1989 to 1993. He is also currently in Dental school at the University of Florida.
